Kicking off "Barrel Strong" video series in two weeks but here is a quick beer review from a brewery from Sactown, Ca. Oh how this new video feature is going to be a lot of fun!

Non-complicated, short and sweet, here it is . . .

Left Eye Right Eye Double IPA, very misleading from this 22oz. bottle. Cracked it, big nose but the taste is not what you would think it would be.

Nice citrus nose, with a light malty backbone. A tasty double IPA that drinks like it is much lower in alcohol than 9.5%. A cool treat from the west coast.

Style: American Imperial IPA
ABV: 9.5%
IBUs: 100

Features a blend of 5 hop varieties that delivers an intense hop experience with a smooth finish.  Big tangerine and grapefruit aromas power Left Eye, Right Eye while the malt flavors are purposefully subdued. Fresh and lively hop character.
